Master the Photographers Universal Tool

Getting Started

New to the tool? Don't worry! Here is the quickest way to get up and running:

  1. Open the App: Launch the program. You'll see a clean sidebar on the left with different tools.
  2. Select Your Working Folder: Go to File > Open Global Folder (Ctrl+O) and select the folder on your computer where your photos are stored. This "Global" folder will now be ready for use in all the tools!
  3. Choose a Tool: Click on the tool you need from the sidebar (Remover, Sorter, or Mover).
  4. Click Start: Since you already selected a Global Folder, just click the action button at the bottom to begin!

Detailed Feature Guide

1. Modd & Moff Remover

Sony and other cameras often create tiny .modd and .moff files alongside your videos. They clutter your folders and make it hard to find your actual footage.

  • How to use: Select your folder. Click Scan for Files.
  • Reviewing: The app shows you exactly which files it found. You can uncheck any you want to keep.
  • Cleaning: Click Delete All Found to instantly clear the clutter.
  • Pro Tip: Check the "Include Subfolders" box if you have photos organized in many different folders inside one main folder.

2. File Sorter

You have a thousand photos, but your client only wants the 50 they selected in an Excel sheet. Finding them manually is a nightmare.

  • How to use:
    1. Select your Excel/CSV file (make sure the first column has the filenames).
    2. Select your Source Folder (where all the photos are).
    3. (Optional) Select an Output Folder. If you leave this empty, it creates a "Sorted_Images" folder for you!
  • Operation Mode: Choose Copy (safe) or Move (fast).
  • RAW Priority: If you shot both RAW and JPG, the sorter automatically finds and prioritizes the high-quality RAW file.

3. RAW Mover

You shoot RAW+JPG. Now you want to move all the RAW files into their own folder to start editing, but only if they have a matching JPG preview.

  • How to use: Select your main folder. Click Start Moving RAWs.
  • What happens: The tool identifies every RAW file that has a twin JPG file and moves it into a dedicated "RAW_Files" folder.
  • Recursion: Enable Include Subfolders to clean up an entire project's sub-directories in one go.
